12-18-09 --> 12-20-09

On Friday, 12-18-09 I went to school. After school I had tutoring for Chemistry from 3:15 - 4:00. After that my uncle came to pick me up and I just chilled with my cousins and cousins. It was fun.

On Saturday, 12-19-09, I woke up really early and went shopping in New Jersey with my mom, stepfather, and grandmother. I got alot of stuff including my Christmas gifts.

On Sunday , 12-20-09, just a boring day =//

12-5-09 --> 12-6-09

On Friday, 12-05-09 , I went to my best friend's house. That was fun because my other friend was there so we were just talking and cracking jokes and stuff like that. Then we left the house, and went roaming around Flatbush, [ something we do every week ]. That was fun because we saw people that we haven't saw in a while. Then, we went and chilled with my uncle for a little. Then he dropped us home

On Saturday, 12-06-09, I went to Saturday school for History. Then, I did my homework. After that, I went home and had family/ movie night with my mom, stepfather, and younger brother. It was fun. We rented movies and played PS3 and Wii all day.

On Sunday, 111509, I stayed home all day and was on twitter [ @Breezy_Couture ] and talking to my friends all day. Then, I went by my father's house and spent the night over there. I chilled with my father, stepmother, brother, and sister, and went on Twitter. Anyway . Talk to you again soon. (=

On Friday, 11-27-09 , was Black Friday. I stayed home and just recuperated from all the food on Thanksgiving.

On Saturday 11-28-09, my older brother, my grandmother, and others went on a bus ride to Tanger Outlets. We shopped literally till we dropped. I had around 600 $ to spend. It was fun. I got a lot of stuff and in the end I was happy.

On Saturday 11-29-09 I stayed home with my brother and grandmother. I was on twitter [ @Breezy_Couture ] and talking to my friends all day. Anyway . Talk to you again soon. (=

Weekendd 11 20 09 - 11 22 09

On Friday, 11 20 09 , I went to school of course. It was a fun day because everyone was excited about homecoming coming up in a few hours. Then, I went to a store to pick up my last minute homecoming accesories. After that, I went home and began to get ready. My mom came home and then dropped me to homecoming at my high school. Me & my friends walked in together. We all looked nice . Homecoming was fun because it was like a big party however, the music and stuff were sort of wack.

On Saturday, 11 21 09, my brother and I went by my best friend's house. The original plan was that we would go to the buffet and movies. But that changed. Instead, we stayed home and ran some errands. It was fun. However, I would've rather just staying home. We spent the night asw well.

On Sunday, 11 22 09, I stayed home all day. It was boring but I was on twitter [ @Breezy_Couture ] and talking to my friends all day. Anyway . Talk to you again soon. (=

Weekendd 11|13 - 11|16

My weekend was sort of wack but at the same time it was fun.

On Saturday, 111409, that was my daddy's birthday. First I went to school for tutoring for my U.S. History class and Chemistry. After that, I went by my dad house to chill with him for his birthday. That was fun because I enjoyed spending time with him and my little brother & sister. We didn't go out but we are going to maybe next weekend or sometime during the week

On Sunday, 111509, I stayed home all day. It was boring but I was on twitter [ @Breezy_Couture ] and talking to my friends all day. Anyway . Talk to you again soon. (=

My Weekendd 10/30/09 - 11/01/09

My weekend was cool. On Friday, I went about my normal day at school. However, it was a half - day because of Parent- Teacher Conferences so I went to visit my old school with some friends. That part of the day was the best because I had an oppurtunity to see people I hadn't seen in months and that I missed. I can't lie ; I definitely did miss my Schuyler heads. But im over it now [ no offensee ].

Anyways, after Schuyler I went home and changed my clothes and took a little nap. Then, I went out with my brothers and cousin and chilled in like Flatbush area. On Saturday, I stayed home, and got ready to go out . I went by my aunt's house to do my hair. My hair took like four hours. I ended up getting home around 1 and then chilled outside with goons until like 2

Sunday, I stayed home. That was boring .

Philippa Schuyler

Philippa Duke Schuyler was born on August 2 1931 in New York, NY. She was an American concert pianist and writer. She was the only child of the most celebrated interracial marriage of the Harlem Renaissance between African American journalist George Schuyler and white Texan artist Josephine Cogdell.
Philippa was a child prodigy. She had an IQ Of 185 and could read and write at the age of two and a half. She began playing the piano at the age of three. At four, she was composing and performed at the age of five on the radio. By age 11, she was touring with over 100 piano compositions by age 13. At the New York World's Fair, New York, Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia declared June 19, 1940 " Philippa Duke Schuyler Day."

Schuler's visibility and fame were heightened by her father's media connections as well as her own regular coverage of exemplary progress in the Pittsburgh Courier. As a young adult, white America lost interest in her. She encountered, at this point, encountered the race prejudice from which she had previously been shielded from. She traveled to over 80 countries however, she was never invited to perform in the U.S for comparable leaders. Spending more than half of her last 10 years of her life abroad, Schuyler sought an alternative home where she could find comfort and acceptance. " I had 30 miserable years in U.S.A. because of having the taint of being a ' strange' curiousity' applied to me" - Philippa Schuyler

In the late 1950s, Schuyler traveled from Rome and performed to white audiences in South Africa. She then briefly toured in Europe as Felipa Monterro, a gifted musician and writer who was no longer identifiable as the daughter of a Negro journalist. Between 1960 and 1969, she published five books about her life and travels, including one in collaboration with her mother. In 1963, she was honored at the Delta Sigma Theta, the " We Salute Women of Achievement" awards along with Leontyne Price and Lena Horne.

Just before her death, Schuyler had begun a career as a news correspondent, publishing articles in several languages including French and German. She died at the age of 35 in a helicopter crash during the Vietnam War while attempting to rescue Catholic schoolchildren from a war zone in Hue to the shelter of a school in Da Nang.
